Acer AL2216W LCD Monitor is blinking off and on.?
I got an Acer AL2216W LCD Monitor as a gift about 10 months ago. It has been working fine until recently. Even though the cords are connected properly, it will dim and continue to blink, going from light to dark. Then it will just suddenly go black for a few seconds and then come back still blinking. Anyone know of this problem and how to fix it? Thank you all in advance.

It sounds like a backlight problem. A backlight is a fluorescent bulb that lights up the monitor screen from behind. It could also be circuit board corrosion causing your Acer monitor to reset (Had this problem in Acer AL1912 LCD monitor)

LCD monitors have a light behind the screen so you can see it. The backlight or inverter is going bad. Most likely the inverter with your symptoms. They can be replaced.

Get an old CRT (heavy tube computer screen). they have extra suited extensive perspective viewing, and extra suited assessment gradient than present day flat panels. you'll be able to desire to purpose making use of a super HDTV as a demonstrate screen. maximum of those have a extremely extensive view perspective. terrific may well be a video projector. those have an somewhat huge perspective, based upon the exterior it is projected upon.
