Yet I was able to mount and download the x86 version. When I mount the x64 version I get-

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

I'm afraid you can't update in this way.You have to format your C partition and reinstall the x64 one.

As you're probable limited to RAM on the laptop, there is not any might desire to visit a 64bit version. basically undergo in techniques that in case you have 4gb of RAM and a 32bit OS, you will purely have the flexibility to work out and use approximately 3.25gb of this RAM, a 64bit OS will see all the RAM available. i'm guessing you have purely a million or 2gb of RAM and the processor is around a million.6Ghz, you have stated the spec, so my study is limited. you do not might desire to decide for the corporation or professional variations except you should adhere your laptop onto a company community, so my suggestion may well be 32bit abode windows 7 abode top classification or terrific in case you desire to spend so extra money.
