Has a brand of cigarettes ever had to give up?

As far as I know every brand of cigarettes is still in business.

My guess is that there are always a few people who are addicted to a brand of cigarettes, and their subconscious mind will force them to buy at least one more pack that has that label on it.

RJ Reynolds (the Camel company) just canceled the Golden Coast brand last week.

EDIT: and a while back Lorillard (the Newport company) canceled the Max brand.

Edit on the edit: Your question got me curious and I googled it, here is what I came up with:

Woodbines, Weights, Bachelors, Guards, Kensitas, Park Drive, Gold Leaf, Strand, Kim, Consulate, Capstan, Senior Service, No. 6, Navy Cut, State Express, Sovereign, Raffles, Dunhill, Slim Kings & Embassy
