What is a name you have hated for as long as you can remember?

I always thought Arnold, Felix, Elmo, Earl, Todd, and Horace were pretty bad names to saddle on a kid. Adolph is just god-awful as well. Barney's terrible, too.

For girls, Bertha, Natasha, Tiffany, Irma, Gertrude, and Jennifer are gross.

Current names that I dislike are the made-up names and anything that rhymes with Aidan. Brayden's got to be the worst of the lot, though. Blarghhh! It's like you're dooming the kid to be a frat boy!

I had never liked the name Horace. Just sounds like a fat oompaloompa.

And a popular name that I hate would be Genesis. For some reason it is top 10 for GIRL names! I thought it was a boys' name. This world is weird.

Wow- I was actually going to say Hortense myself! Bleurgh, it's a horrible name *shivers* :)

For a boy, it would have to be Gaylord, I've actually heard this used!!

As my best friend is named Emma, I can't really slight this, although I've never liked it much at all. For a boy, it would have to be Anthony, it just grates on me for some reason!

For me, the "popular" name I hate the most is Ashley.

I just always associated it with a few girls I didn't like as a kid....

Since then I've met some nice Ashleys, though, so........

I don't think it's a bad name, but I just would never consider the name Grace. It's not for me.

In the top ten, I don't hate but would never consider Sophia.
