Why do women date jerks??

Haha Dude ive noticed the exact same thing i cannot for the life of me understand this either. I have known women that wouldnt give me the time of day and i would treat them nice Buy flowers candy hold the door for them. Treat them like Queens and then turn around and there with some guy who Rather Smack them then Hold there hand or Curse at them and tell them to fix him some food rather then tell them they love them.

I have come down to #2 Conclusions #1 Women like danger i dont know why people cant just have normal lives but even though a nice guy can protect them like you stated they seem to go more on Apperance and Wildness vs just A calm mild mannered man that im sure can easily beat the mess out of one of those bad boy type of guys.

#2 Some women are just Dumb lol there really is no other explanation im trying to rationalize it but even now it still escapes me how a woman can have a nice man willing to die for a woman and she treats her like crap,But the Guy who dosent wanna work beats her and her kids and Sleeps around gets treated like a King.Dude life isnt fair lol.

But for what its worth bro Keep on being you, dont treat women with disrespect just to get with them.Someday you will meet a woman who likes you and thats all that will matter leave these women alone that are like you described. Nice guys sometimes do finish last but i think when we do finish we were better off then the bad ones who finished before us.

Women want two things - good genetics and or many resources.

Women desire alpha males because they will succeed - no matter what - at least anthropologically. They want someone to succeed not someone to whisper nice things in their ear. Some guys already have success, they have parents who are rich and will guide them from the teenage stupidity to the family business or the family fortune. Good genetics in a social society is an outgoing self confident personality. Read "the pecking order" which focuses on chickens but is in reality a study in human sociology. Self confidence is focus on goals other than a woman. When a guy is making something happen, women are incidental, not their full focus. Thus, a man who finds women trivial to success will automatically succeed and eventually find a female who he will drag to the life style of pools, vacations and luxury. She can do the gardener if she wants because he is focused elsewhere. But the gardener will never provide the million dollar home, the vacations to the sunshine, or the big rock that can double for a door nob on her finger.

Thus: You should focus on becoming successful rather than finding a female. Improve your future financial success or potential and the females will find you. Which means you major in an area rife will financial success, forget art or poetry and make business, finance or engineering your life.

Of course you shouldn't just commit suicide, you silly boy. You're young and the best is yet to come! Maybe those girls are going for the wrong type of guy, but did you ever consider that you might be going for the wrong type of girl? Why in the world would you want a dingbat who would allow herself to be treated that way? Start taking a look at the smarter ones, who would be better companions anyway. If you insist on holding out for one of the dingbats, then just wait a few years. They tend to eventually wise up with maturity and experience, and you can maybe scoop one up after they've allowed themselves to be used and abused and tossed aside. By that point they will probably have some baggage.. such as a couple kids by different loser fathers... but they're still the same endearing dingbat you've always been after. Personally, I recommend you go for the smarter girl who will make the better companion for you NOW.

Well first off suicide isn't the answer to anything in life and especially over a female. We simply aren't worth it. Dont let a female get the better of you. Females know what they want but they don't know what they want. Now it doesn't make sense but it's what goes through our minds. They like excitment and sometimes a nice guy can't give us that. We like to be surprised and have interesting stories to tell our friends. But with a nice guy the most you get out of him is flowers and candy. What kind of story is that to tell people. If you can understand it's not about how nice you treat us but what you do to surprise us by doing. Its a long cycle to tell you. Thats about as much as I can break it down.

But in reality death won't let things get better. So I say if you don't search for a girl then you'll meet one when you least expect it.

WOW i hate jerks, maybe youve just been hanging around the wrong kind of women. I would never go for someone who treats me like crap, so dont make that generalization . Same problem....although I do have a nasty side. I guess it's probably because the alpha males are doing the chasing while you're holding the door open for them. Don't worry too much. Just be yourself there are plenty of girls out there who are looking for that.

because the jerks put on an act and go to surprising lengths to try to convince us they're "different" and "nice". then after a few months all of a sudden their true side comes out and they're a huuuge jerk. not our fault most guys suck. I HATE being treated like crap, but 98% of guys treat women like complete crap, and i'm unlucky enough that I've only ever met guys who are that 98%. I've never met a guy who was truly nice. ever. time to freaking move i hate it

Women date jerks because they don't know they can do better. If all they saw growing up is their mother getting the treatment you described, then they think that is how is goes. You are apparently going for the wrong girls, because there are loads of them that want to be treated with love and respect.

The worst reason in the world to commit suicide is over a girl. That aside, you are 18 and dating girls your own age. These girls are still immature and rebellious. Once you get to college it's like someone flips the switch on them. They start appreciating a mature guy who is nice. Most of them anyway.

First of all you don't commit suicide because of some stupid girl who doesn't understand the real you. and And the girls your talking about are the ones you usually see getting abused. Don't worry your time will come for your lover. Yea ik that did sound a little corny but its true the girls that "shoo" you arn't good enough for you. Don't lower your standards for some girl.
