    1. Galarraga's imperfect game.

    2. Beating the Yankee's 5-4 after Harwell's passing. Valverde struck out Swisher, Teixera and A-Rod to end the game (I was at the game).

    3. Max St Pierre making it to the MLB after 14 seasons in the minor leagues.

    4. Miguel Cabrera's 3-HR night.

    5. 13 inning game against the Twins that you mentioned.

    5. Winning the first game at the new stadium.

    4. An amazing comeback in Philadelphia. The Twins were down like 9-4 but came back in the 9th and won it in 11 with a home run by Drew Butera, who's a terrible hitter.

    3. Jim Thome passing former Twin Harmon Killebrew on the all-time HR list.

    2. Taking the lead in Game 1 of the ALDS (for one brief moment it looked like the Twins might actually accomplish something in the playoffs this year).

    1. Clinching the Central Division title. Too bad everything went downhill from there.

I missed the last few innings of the 13 inning game because I had a party to go to. It sounded exciting, though, even though your Tigers won.

@Peter Jakovskiy: correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Lou Gehrig hit like 22 Grand Slams? I don't think 10 is the Yankee record.

    For the Red Sox:

    1. Darnell McDonald coming up from Pawtucket and hitting an 8th inning 2-run game-tying HR in his first at-bat, then a walkoff hit off the Monster in the 9th.

    2. Daniel Nava's grand slam on the first pitch of his major league career.

    3. David Ortiz hitting a bases-clearing walk-off double against the Tigers - taste of the good ole days, and I was at this game in person.

    4. Dustin Pedroia hitting 3 HRs and helping the Sox pull off a hard-earned win in Colorado.

    5. Mike Lowell homering on the first pitch he saw coming off the DL.

    dodgers

    1. Andre Ethier walk off grand slam

2.13 innings against the Mets when Loney finally ended it with a homerun

    3. Kuroda taking a no hitter 7.2 innings

    4. Kershaw gets his first complete game (i have a feeling there will be many more to come)

    5. Kuo breaking the ERA record for the dodgers

I know they dont seem that exciting, but they were the ones that i remember and in a bleak season its hard to find good spots.
