how do i get my router to let me put in a new password?

I'm setting up a wireless connection on a new computer. It can detect my wireless signal, but it can't connect. I suspect I put in the wrong password but I can't figure out where to try a new password. Help?

    Specify the MAKE && MODEL of the router.

    Specific instructions can then be given.

    RE-SET router to DEFAULT password && username

    -

    * Username = admin

    * Password = password

    *= For older devices, password = 1234

    Log-In and program to your new info.
