I have a small dog that likes to lick a lot. Will she ever grow out of it?

If she's 'small' as in teething puppy, probably, some. If you don't like it, get a liquid called "Bitter Apple" from the pet store and put a little on whatever she's licking. A couple of tastes should discourage the licking.

Possibly. I mean, it's a natural habit. Lots of dogs have an addiction to licking.

Do you mean lick herself or other things ? My 7 year old Chihuahua right now is licking her front legs and paws. I've never noticed my dogs licking anything else but their food bowl.

Dogs lick. It's how they say "I love you." She'll never stop licking, but you can teach her to stop licking certain things. Just say "NO" really harshly whenever you see her doing it. Don't hit her or anything, though.

Its natural for a dog to do that.Don't stop it because ur dog might not like it.Sometimes ur dog does it because it is excited to see u or it might want to play.I'm not a dog EXPERT but I know that the right thing to do is to NOT get rid of it.

Maybe, maybe not. That's your dog's way of giving kisses. If it grosses you out just push her away or gently tell her no.
