There are lots of nice parts. It all depends on what you are looking for. That is one neat thing about Oregon, we have a wide variety. We have ocean, mountains, valleys & desert. There are cold places, hot places & lots inbetween.
I live in Bandon on the southern coast. I grew up here. The coast has a relativly mild climate. It does not get real hot or real cold. It does rain alot but not unberible. I don't have any info on prices since I'm only a property manager & not an agent. I can give any info on rentals if your unterested. We get lots of people that move here & rent for the 1st yr to check out the climate before they buy.

Anywhere off the I-5 corridor or the coast. On the coast, Cannon Beach and Seaside are popular in summer. Portland costs more than south of Portland. I like Ashland which is nearer to the Calif. border and Roseburg which is an older small town with a winery and salmon hatchery. Also I like Eugene which has the Univ of Oregon and a nice airport.
