# Cover your basics career, track record, credbility background and experience.
# State the key factors which drive growth of the business.
# State the risks of the business and what controls are in place to manage them.

Not sure what type of business you have in mind, but you might want to consider an alternative to traditional investors. Instead, form a partnership around a few individuals with complimentary skills, motivation and capital resources. Not only will you effectively address you're funding needs, but you'll have a team with a greater depth of experience and a broader set of skills to more effectively build your business.
