You have to cook the garlic. Then add it to this sauce

Heat a cup of milk until it is simmering. Meanwhile add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to 1 tablespoon of cold milk and mix thoroughly. Bring to a boil whisking the whole time. Add salt and pepper.

You can cook the garlic in a little butter or oil in a pan but be sure not to brown it. Use a medium heat and stir it the whole time it cooks. As soon as it is cooked take it out of the pan. Use the garlic and the oil.

You can add all sorts of different flavorings to this; I might add nutmeg, cheddar cheese, cumin, celery seeds, shrimp stock, etc.

Silence for starters depending on how much sauce you need I would be baking at least two heads of garlic, cut part of the head off, about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch drizzle some oil on it, and bake at 350 till soft and mushy, dissolve some cornstarch in some milk. Heat milk then add the dissolved cornstarch and squeeze in the garlic and stir well with a whisk till it starts to thicken. If it starts coming to thick, add a little more milk till you get the consistency you want.

Roast the garlic (best) or saute (good). Remove from heat

Melt 1T of fat (oil, butter, etc) and 1 1/2 teaspoons of cornstarch over medium heat. Stir constantly for 3-4 minutes. It should be golden color. Add in sauteed or roasted garlic.

Add 1 C of milk, whisk to thicken.

Mix with pasta or serve over meat.

    Happy eating!
