My ball python isn't pooping...what's wrong?
My ball python was born in July, got him from the store in early August. After his first feeding at home he pooped just fine (looked like a brown log) but now he isn't really going. He is releasing like little pellets but not that often either. I've soaked him and it doesn't seem to help. He doesn't look sick or anything either. Any help will be appreciated!

Hello,
If your snake is poo'ing out small pellets, then you're fine. Ball Pythons can get constipated, but if you see ANY poo then your snake is fine. Remember that they won't pooh every week - sometimes they won't poo for a few weeks. If you notice that it has been a few weeks since your snake has passed anything (urates or poo) then you can take it to the next level. Until then, no need to worry - and certainly no need for a warm bath. Make sure your enclosure is at the correct temperatures, and that your snake does move around. Often both, or either of those are causes for constipation.

"Paranoia will destroy ya" Relax, snakes can go months in between poops. My Blood Python only poops once a month at most. She's gone 3 months without pooping. Just make sure her temps are correct, she has water, she is being fed on a weekly basis, and the humidity levels are where they're supposed to be.

Sometimes they just won't poop. If it starts to look sick and it still hasn't pooped you should take it to a vet or a pet store that knows what their doing (not petco)
