Think point has taken over my computer, Have the hackers finally thought up a way to kill a PC?

I have seen some good advice here on answers about how to remove thinkpoint ,however the the fix involves going to a website, like kaspersky or a CD ROM. If the computer has thinkpoint then you can't go to a website or load a CD because thinkpoint won't allow you to do that. What you guys have to do is come up with a plan that you fix your computer by only pressing stuff on your keyboard.

Yes, that may be a difficult challenge, but there must be at least one of you computer experts reading this that can think of an algorythim that will come to the rescue

this scam is just designed to trick users into believing their computers are compromised. It is a fraud because it asks to download supposedly real security software. Do not buy it. Use manual removal guide and you'll be able to get rid of it: http://www.spywares-remove.com/remove-thinkpointth...

Looking for a 'one click' solution to fix a Windows OS ain't happening.

The only logical conclusion anyone can arrive at, is to keep Windows off the Internet.

Restart your computer and while it's booting up, repeatedly tap F8. Then select "safe mode with networking". This should prevent it from running at startup, and you'll be able to use those removal programs.
