How to dispose of my broken ps3 controller?

Go to the local electronics/data store and give it to them which they will send it to be recycled, you must absolutely not throw it in the garbage bc it contains allot of hazardous materials. No you don't pay nothing to get it recycled just so you know.

Have you considered Ebay? You'd be surprised how much people will pay for something broken, if you go to the 'sell' tab on ebay and then onto 'how to sell' there is a section where you can search completed listings, try 'broken ps3 controller', worth a try.

One of mine was just drenched in soda.. Im gonna take it apart and keep the plastic shell and analog sticks. Ive always wanted to do a custom paint job, but was afraid of screwing up a perfectly good controller..

You can probably just toss it. But things like cell phones, Ipods...should be sent to a recycle place.
