what bit my hand in Florida?
While riding in the sandy swamp roads of Florida,me and my friend came across a strange animal dead beside the road,I gave it the 2 obligatory thumps to be sure it was dead.It had a long tail like a fox, short legs like a badger and the face of a fox, tall ears and canine teeth. We put it in the cabin truck floor...I was thinking about my name in the paper, and all the glory that comes with a new animal discovery..My friend i suspect was thinking it might taste like chicken..Animal!!..after a few miles of driving it started to yawn..it was Alive!!..in a second i jumped into action..seeing all the nature shows..crocodile hunter and the like,i just needed to grab it by the neck to subdue the creature...with my slight eye problem i was off course,i grabbed its neck and it opened it jaw again for a second yawn, what yawns twice,my finger was in the jaws.He/she was not amused it may have thought i was trying to domesticate it..My friend stopped the truck as quickly as possible..and the animal was out.It walked at a slow pace, and i think it turned and smiled at my bloody finger..i'm sure it will have a story for its grand-kids..about the day it awoke with a finger in its mouth, and being 10 miles from home..little Beast..anyway What do you think it was?
