My computer times out while.....?
there are times when i need to upgrade something and it takes about 45 minutes or more. it never finishes because it reads that the computer timed out. How can i set it not to time out.?

Internet connection times out,
The reason for that is your computer Internet connection is to slow and the server at the other end drops it, (disconnect)
Or
your computer goes into sleep mode, if that is the case then switch off the screen savers until the upgrades are complete
