Question about e-mails?

My daughter and I share a computer, I keep getting e-mails from her, and she isn't on a computer I have never opened them because I know they can't be from her. Why do I get these and are they dangerous?

Option 1: Your daughter has caught a virus and the program is automatically sending mail on her behalf. This type of mail is really dangerous if you open it (in particular if you open the attachment, if they have it).

Option 2: Spammers are only using names from your contact list (through some spying programs), while the actual adres, from which the mail is sent, is different. In this case mark them as spam

In any case it is better to not open them if the mail is suspicious.
