Creating soft waves in hair?

Sounds like you have a lot of fine hair and that can be difficult to style. I have the same issue but heat helps so either use hot rollers or a heating iron with a crimper. find a brand of shampoo and conditioner formulated for fine hair so it doesn't weigh it down. A styling product sprayed in when wet might be better to set the waves rather than adding get or hair spray afterwards. Talk to your stylist about adding some layers so that the hair doesn't overwhelm the hair underneath. You want to wear it either blunt cut (otherwise it will show every little difference in length expecially if the color is light) or else have it styled in layers very deliberately. You want it well blended.
