Phage is not banned in any of them. Although if your friends are being whiny douchebags calmly explain the concept of growing a pair and finding a way to beat phage, also if your not playing in a tournament it doesn't matter what is tournament legal. Your friends are just not skilled players if one card is causing them that much trouble.

Phage is not banned. Ib would be lying if I said she was not annoying but removals can take care of her though. Should she be banned mabye. On the hand she is beatable on the other hand if you throw r ample on here and you deck is not built with a lot of removals she can be a pest. Regardless I do think ability is a bit overpowered. I can deal with my creatures dying but wining the game until she is put on the field with trample well you can imagine how that went lol. Good card either way so keep using her!

the two most common combos with Phage are Whispersilk cloak and incite war. Personally I recommend cabal coffers and theres another sorcery that as an additional cost Sac a creature and add 5black to your mana pool. Or tomb of Yagamoth. You can also make her a sliver hehehe with Hive stone...that is if you are playing slivers.

Just flicker her. Voidwalk is the perfect anti-Phage card.

Not standard or extended, but it's fine in vintage and legacy, which are the main casual formats. Tell them to pack more removal.
