Do paramedics have to wash their own uniforms?
I have a new neighbour in my apartment block and I have heard he is a London Paramedic although I haven't actually spoken to him myself yet. I have a bit of a HIV phobia and recently noticed what looks like a green paramedic uniform hanging out on the washing line next to my washing. I can't believe that paramedics are expected to wash their own uniforms, what about infection?

C'mon, who do you think is going to wash people's uniforms? Big people who earn their own living do their own laundry-- it's called being grown up. Surely you know that.
There isn't going to be HIV on the paramedic's uniform anyway, so it's nothing to worry about. Educate yourself about the disease and you will feel more at ease.

Why get all shook up over the fact he washes his cloths you have to be out among people as well you touch things all day so you have germs on you as well think about using the phone either at home or work or grabbing that food buggy at the store Many hands touched that jewel not to mention all the kiddies that sat in it with a runny nose or fingers in the mouth or up the tiny nose then grabbed that handle bar when ma or pa gave it a quick shove or pull Yea LOTS of germs every where so let this man wash and hang his cloths in peace if worried about HIV carry a bottle of Sanitizer around with you. besides hes not going to rub his close on you and they can take a shower before coming home.Plus they have blood kits on board every truck or ambulance they are trained for any blood accidents or any body fluids if happen to come upon. Most times they don't and wont..

Please do not be so fussy.
HIV can never come from a Paramedic's uniform.
In any case try to be mentally strong or else you will lose immunity mentally.
