My gut feeling is that the swim bladder did evolve from a lung. Also, you'll notice that the marine fish that have the swim bladder are hypotonic with respect to the marine environment -- suggesting that those marine fish had a freshwater (or possibly brackish) ancestor. This means that there's an ancestor that lived close enough to the surface of water to be gulping air.

It is likely lungs evolved from swim bladders though.

well, swim bladders are not in fish and things that are not fish need oxygen to live, Hint* the lungs* so thats why swim bladders came after lungs
