Anyone got a good cherry pineapple ice cream punch recipe?

I want to use vanilla ice cream or cherry sherbet with no lemon, lime, or orange juice.

Update:

Kim, how would I go about using cherry kool aid mix in it too?

    PINEAPPLE CHERRY ICE CREAM PUNCH

1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice, chilled

1 1/2 pts. vanilla ice cream, softened

    1 pt. cherry sherbet, softened

    3 c. ginger ale, chilled

Combine all ingredients except ginger ale. Beat at low speed of electric mixer until well blended. Pour mixture into punch bowl. Just before serving, add ginger ale. Yield: about 30 (4 oz.) servings.

Most store brand sodas have a pineapple soda flavor. I use pineapple soda in my pina colada punch.

Take the pineapple soda, and since you want to use your cherry koolaid mix, blend it with the soda. Put this mixture in your punch bowl. Mix in one small jar of maraschino cherries, juice included. Scoop in semi-soft vanilla ice cream and stir only slightly. You'll end up with a really creamy cherry pineapple punch! You could also float some pineapple rings on the punch. Delish!!! :)
