Are there any sites out there where you can publish a story or book for others to read? besides, of course fanfiction.net?
i once found this really great site where people can read books that others have published, and i believe it was called something like worthpublishing.com? i really wish i could remember the name of the site D; all i remember was that it had a "best book of the day" or week or something like that on the homepage.

There is another website, it's called Fictionpress.com
( http://www.fictionpress.com/ ).
It's very similar to fanfiction, but the stories don't have to be based on anything.
