Were does there career go of the winner of the Martinez vs Williams bout after this fight?

This is a interesting fight because both Martinez and Williams both deserve big paydays from now on. I heard on HBO a commentator say after tonight neither fighter will be fighting on regular HBO anymore.

Unfortunately the Jr. Middleweight and Middleweight division doesn't offer either man a lot of action beyond tough fights with more risk than reward. If their looking to make a payday then the only reasonable option would be a fight with Miguel Cotto for the winner.

The loser, well, if its Paul Williams he can chase a rubber match but if its Sergio Martinez i guess the only option would be to try and recapture a title and maybe unify them.

The Jr. Middleweight and Middleweight division has talented fighters like Yuri Foreman, Alfredo Angulo, and Dmitry Pirog but the downside is that nobody aside from Miguel Cotto really has the star power to produce a major payday. This is a tough fight but the loser doesn't have very many options once its all said and done.

I'm still not sold on either man being on a PPV bout. If Martinez wins, then I could possibly see a third and final match being on PPV, if if provides the same excitement as their first meeting. If Williams should win tomorrow, then I'm not sure who he could get a fight with that would make fans want to pay PPV prices. I think Williams will continue to have a hard finding an attractive name for an opponent. I think it would be a good idea to unify the titles and earn more recognition, assuming he is successful.

Well win or lose, one might land a fight with Mayweather or Pacquiao. They could also fight Miguel Cotto or Alfredo Angulo. There isn't really much to do for either, except Paul Williams. if he wanted he could go up in weight and try his luck out in the Super Middleweight division
