Do I have a virus on my computer?
every time i try to look up a page found on google, the link takes me to a completely different site, usually listing advertisements. can i fix this? and if it is a virus what can i do to take it off? thanks if you can help :]
also, after shutting down my computer and starting it up again, a file named "systemdll32" started running. but thank you for the answers already, ill try the links

I hate this virus. If nothing is done about it for sometime(say like around 1 week) it will gorw and start affecting other search engines like bing and yahoo. This particular virus will also make your computer reallly really slow.
The fastest and most effective way to get rid of this is to Run a program called Combofix. Combofix is a program that was made to remove this virus along with other different ones. It normally take 10 minutes to do this but with a badly affected computer it can take double the time.
www.combofix.org is not in anyway related to the makers of the program so don't download it from there.
