If an iPod syncs to another computer, can it then sync back to the computer it was originally synced to?

My girlfriend wants to put all of my music on her iPod and wipe all of the songs off hers and get all of mine onto hers by syncing her iPod with my computer. (1) And also she then wants to sync it back with her computer when she gets bored of my music (2)

(1) Is that possible?

(2) Would she be able to then sync it back with her own computer and get all her music back?

Please and Thank You

Yes. Go to iPod-tool.com and download the iPod to PC transfer software called Tansee iPod Transfer to help you backup all your iPod songs and videos onto your computer.

The advantage lies in that it utilizes iPod's internal database to display your iPod's files instantly. That means, when you connect your iPod to PC, this program will automatically display all music/videos on your iPod. Once click "Copy" button, all files would be copied onto your selected folder on your PC.

I advise you to use it. Really save time.

Ok, well the first thing is if u set up your ipod on a windows, then you can sync (or get music from) any computer without any issues.. however, if you set it up on a mac and u are syncing with a windows computer then it will tell you to restore the ipod in order to sync with the itunes library... if you restore it you will lose all of your previously saved music that you have on there.

Source(s): have had ipods since they first came out.. and my uncle is a techy for ipods.

you are able to placed the music of your iPod to iTunes and vice-versa. Had an iPod until now, i think you need to replace the SYNC to steer, to realize this stick to those steps: -Open itunes -click Edit on the menu bar -chosen selection -click on contraptions -Uncheck computerized Synching Sorry for the undesirable information :(

yes it is possible. but when you sync it itunes will ask do you want to transfer the songs on her ipod on you computer. click no so her songs will be erased and you won't get her songs and she'll get yours. but when she syncs it to her computer and that message come up she has to click yes. later she can customize her computer (FROM ITUNES) so her songs won't sync to her ipod or she can just delete her old songs
