How to get a package from UPS if I'm not going to be home?
I'm expecting a package to be delivered via UPS, but it'll most likely be while I'm away from home for a few days visiting family. I know they try to deliver the package 3 times before it's returned to the sender, and I don't want that to happen. Is there anything I can do to make sure the package isn't sent back?
Edit: I'm a college student and I live in an apartment building that doesn't have very trustworthy inhabitants...I would basically be throwing it away if I asked a neighbor to get it or if I asked them to leave it at my door.

Depending on how far away you're going, call UPS, they might be able to redirect it to the address you'll be at. Or, explain you are going out of town and request they hold it til you get back. I've done this and they were willing to work with me.
