Ummm the TSA is an American security department. Other international airports screen the passangers how they want to screen them. But trust me, America is notorious for its lax security compared to most other airports.
You must remember, America has been dealing with domestic terrorism for about 10 years. Other nations around the world have been dealing with terrorism for 70-80 years.
