What just happened on All My Children, David just walked in and his was suppose to be dead?

Maybe it's the old I have a twin brother story?

I'm sure David has a logical explanation.

Hi Carol. Nice to see another AMC fan here. I know David is supposed to be dead but I think it is a ruse in order to keep his whereabouts unknown kind of like in the witness protection program. Or it could be that it he is dead and it is a dream sequence in which he appears to be alive. Wonder if they are going to write David out of the show because he might want not want to live in Los Angeles to do the show. I think he was originally from NYC.

I really wasn't surprised to see him. I never thought he was dead but especially after that guy confessed that David paid him to frame Ryan. This is a typical David plot. If it had gone as planned and Ryan had been convicted we probably wouldn't have seen him for a while, if ever. But once they found Greenlee guilty he reappeared. No one is ever absolutely, positively dead on the soaps. I'm glad to see him back.

Apparently no one looked in the coffin. Presumed dead people come back all the time on soaps. I'm so glad he's back and can't wait for him to stir things up.

All I know is that he was really supposed to be dead but the killer's plan backfired so David is alive. I read about it and then it said that we will find out everything about the plan of killing David sometime this week. I just tuned in when I saw him standing there and was like I thought he was dead. It showed Greenlee seeing him too in episodes which made me think he was really dead. And I thought this time she was just seeing him like she used to but it was really him. I was shocked to see that.

I have no what happened either. This came out of nowhere, I read the spoilers on soaps.com and I did not see this anywhere in the spoilers. I should not be so shocked because he was still in the beginning credits on the show

that scenario you just described reminds me of the serials of tarzan and the like they showed at the local movie house on a saturday in the late 40s and would end the episode with an impossible way out for him but there always were a way for him to escape but not until we came back the next saturday. wait and see if there isn't a simple answer and there will be one too. for your soap, the fun is in the suspense of wondering how can they fix that! i'm sorry but i have never watched it before but i hope someone can shed some light on it for you.

David faked his own death. i kind of knew it from the begging- it was just too obvious. i was just waiting for hi to pop up. he did what he always does- paid people off

Obviously he paid someone to help fake his death. He had knowledge and access to drugs to make him appear dead and the money to pay people to help. It looks like next week he might really die though!~

I just asked this same question. I am glad to see him back but this is beyond belief. I don't read any spoilers so this was really a shock.. lol
