Need help with a friend who always copies me?

one of my best friends copies with pretty much EVERYTHING. When we go out shopping or something sh asks what im wearing and then turns up wearing something really similar to what i said and its really annoying. Im 16 and last week we had to say ideas we had for future jobs so i said a lawyer and then today in class we were talking about it again and my friends says she wants to be a lawyer too. It just annoys me so what should i do because i dont want to hurt her feelings or anything?

thankyou :)

While it's pretty annoying i'd try taking it as a compliment, she will hopefully grow out of it soon enough. Try not to be too harsh if you do decide to say something, she probably doesn't realise what she's doing is bugging you.

I cannot say I know what that fells like, but I can see why it would be annoying.

The only thing I could suggest is to talk to her about how you feel. Ask her why she does so because it sounds like she wants to be like you, which isn't always a bad thing, but at the same time it wouldn't do her any good. I say this because if you were to move away and were unable to see her, this would affect her badly.

I would suggest talking to her, but make sure its one to one, its not easy but she may tell you why she does it. I hope I have helped :)

I think you should sit her down and tell her how you would appreciate if she stopped copying you and she should be her own person not you
