What is a bigger surprise? The Hornets are 11-1 or the Heat are 7-6?

The Hornets were 37-45 last year and the Heat were talked about as a team that could win 70 games. Thoughts on which one is a bigger surprise- and reasons why- especially regarding the Hornets!

Update:

Thanks everyone for your thoughts (thumbs up for everyone)- got to give it to brownboy- good call giving Monty Williams credit!

I am more surprised at the Hornets starting 11-1 this season compared to the Heat at 8-6. It was assumed (maybe not be the majority) that the Heat would be undergoing some growing pains. While the lack of effort is unacceptable, them sustaining injuries to Wade, Miller, and Haslem, their low record seems a bit justified.

The Hornets were simply just predicted to have a bad season and for CP3 to have a reason to be traded. Even after all those moves, which seemed simply to appease Paul, the Hornets are playing great basketball. Monty Williams should get a lot of credit.

The Hornets early season success is the bigger surprise. I expected the Heat to struggle up to the All-Star break, maybe more. The Hornets are probably the biggest surprise of the season. The Spurs are playing well too, but they have a championship pedigree, so it's not quite as shocking to see them get off to a fast start.

    Hornets going 11-1.

I was NOT expecting that. Heat losing 6 games was surprising but not as shocking as hornets' good start.

The Hornets that team is off to there best start in franchise history as well as the Spurs who are also off to there best start in franchise history the Spurs are 12-1 and the Hornets are 11-1 and the Lakers are 12-2

I think the Hornets are the bigger surprise.

Looking at the Heat's roster, it shouldn't come off as a huge surprise. They put a minimum of 2 crappy players out on the floor at all times. Their bench is the worst in the league, especially with Haslem and Miller out.
