Why is my iPod sooooo slow (10 POINTS)?
Okay details about my iPod: 3rd generation itouch, updated to the 4.0.0 software, jailbroken, only has half a page of apps other than the ones that comes with it.
My iPod has been jailbroken for 2 months now and I haven't gotten any problems like this before. I just downloaded the app called "the spot" and that's when it started. My bro has the app too, but his iPod isn't jailbroken. His is also particularly slow today. And the facebook app doesn't work for either of us too. WTF is going on, I'm really confused. I already restarted my iPod, and it's still slow. I won't clear my iPod though cuz I don't have a computer to restore it. Someone please explain what's happenning. You don't even need to help me fix it, just help me identify the problem. 10 POINTS to the best answer!!!

It is because you "jailbroke" it. Other than restoring it on itunes, theres nothing else you can do. And when you "jailbroke" it, it said please do not update past a certain update. Thats all I can say, hope I helped.
