How can I tell if my pecan pie is done?

I baked it according to the recipe but the middle is still really squidgy and wiggly like it isn't done. Should it look like that?

When you shake it it should have minimal wiggle...it will continue to cook for a bit when you take it out of the oven, and will set as it cools.

    1) Get a sharp knife and make a cut from the center to the edge of the pie

    2) Make a second cut from the center about 30 degrees from the first cut.

    3) Pick up the smaller segment

    4) Raise it to you face and place it inside your mouth.

    5) Chew a little and you should be able to tell if the pie is done or not.
