A known illegal alien and gang member?
A known illegal alien and gang member has been found guilty of Chandra Levy's murder. Since Washington D.C. and the U.S. Department of Immigration were both aware of his illegal status, should they be held accountable? Should the Levy family petition the ACLU to sue Washington D.C. and the U.S. Department of Immigration? Was Ingmar Guandique's immigration status more important than Chandra Levy's life?
I'm not suggesting that every tomato picker or construction worker needs to have their immigration status checked.
I'm asking, whether or not an illegal immigrant who was brought up on felonies in the U.S. prior to the Levy murder, and THEN housed by tax dollars, and THEN released back into the population where he could commit murder, should have been deported? Why wasn't this outstanding non-citizen deported?

Apparently not. I wonder where are the illegal sympathizers that claim they are only here to work and they do no harm?

I applaud ICE for this! We need to stop these violent gang members that make up 2% of the illegal population so maybe it'll help curb all this stereo typing on illegals.

Simply, no. To what end? Do you remotely think that the government can control the reigns on any single individual? On any group of individuals? Does someone other that the criminal have to be responsible for this tragedy?
