Moulinex Pressure Cooker Spares - Help !!?

We have a moulinex pressure cooker which we bought ages ago. Its still in good order but the rubber gasket which seals the lid is failing. I know that the original Moulinex company went bust some years back and sold on the brand, so the modern company is not really related. As pressure cookers are not cheap, and as I really dont want to scrap this rather large chunk of steel...... does anyone know of a source of spares ? have tried the net to no avail.

    Yeah, the internet is not very helpful finding what you're looking for. I have a pressure cooker (Presto) and my seal is just a flat rubber ring. If yours is too, I bet if you just measure it (diameter, width and thickness) and email some of the companies selling OTHER brands, they might just have one that will fit your cooker.
