What type of college degree should I go for?
My dream job would be to get a job to help design and/or develop products for companies like Apple, Microsoft, Sony, or other companies similar. Any insight on what degree would be most suitable?

Computer science? I personally would say get into geology, then seismology and develop computer applications for petroleum detection. Cha Ching! Then with your big pile of cash you can go out on a biznass limb and create a private sector for developing computer stuff. You'll have to make it work on your own before apple etc will take a look.. If you have a few big successes under your belt I would think it would make it easier to make a proposal to such large corps.
