my wife has many half brothers and sisters?

Who ever was closed to her and who you think she would want there.

Even if they never had contact they should be told their sister has died....family is family whether they are sh.it or not.....they should be giving the chance to decide whether they want to go or not.

If her parents are still alive ask them if they would feel comfortable with you informing them and giving them a chance to say good bye to the sister they never really got to know. As well as other family members...as many may feel its inappropriate.....do you think your wife would have wanted them there??

All of them as long as they have the same father they are still considered her 1/2 brother and sister does not matter how many different mother there are.

If they truly have never had contact with her, there is no need to mention them all by name. Perhaps...her immediate family members (ie: yourself, children, parents) and then something along the lines of several brothers and sisters.

I would still include them
