What if it really did escalate in Korea? Do you think it could provoke martial law around the world?

honestly, NK is a time bomb ready to explode at any second now. i say we get in there and do something about it before hundreds of thousands of innocent people die.

No, why would the world go on Martial Law for a war that would no doubt end in a few weeks. North Korea is not the threat we think they are, they can harm Japan, and South Korea. Aside from that they are honestly nothing but a flee.

We take their crap because no one wants war, it destabilizes the norm of the world, but it wouldn't stop the entire planet. Wars are being fought now around the world, and yet we are not in a state of martial law.

As crazy as Kim Jong Il is he doesn't want war what you have to remember is that he himself lives a very cushy life he enjoys vast amounts of champagne,fine foods, even entertainment DVD's etc - he would not risk losing his own lifestyle for a war that he cannot actually afford in the first place.

Also he would rather keep the people of NK right where they are a war and a possible break down of the regime would send North Koreans fleeing and upon entering other countries discovering that in fact they had been lied to from their very own "Dear Leader" - Bullying,Brainwashing and Kicking Out are Kim Jong's tools he wont do anything too major because war would ruin him.
