You do what's right for you. For some people it's waiting for marriage and for others it's not waiting for marriage. Lose your virginity when you really care or love that person, don't let them pressure or guilt you into doing anything you don't want to do.

The right time is when you aren't doing it to "be doing it", out of curiosity, because "everyone else is", because "I'll lose him if I don't", when you are protected from disease and pregnancy, when you have time and privacy not to rush it, when you deeply care about the other...

    BTW:

Don't expect too much the "first time". Work on it together beyond the big event. Polish the act.

  • statistically... the younger the girl, the older the guy.

but heres a piece of personal advice. My girlfriend lost hers a 16 to a guy who was 24. she then had sex a second time with a guy who was 19.

shes now 18, and her nudes are still being circulated. There are rumors of her being passed around. and .... a lot of older guys try to hook up with her b/c she was used and dubbed EASY.

im her boyfriend... turning 20. not only is she damaged by her decisions, but i have to learn to live with them and the retroactive jealousy it brings me.

be conservative and... really make sure the person is going to stick with you. once its done, you can never take it back, and your decisions now...will fallow you for the rest of your life; impacting not only yours, but every pertner you'll ever have.

when you are in love and when you know the person you have it with will be around for a long time. Age wise I say 17 or 18 is a good minimum. too young and you are acting stupid

I'm still holding my vCard at 15. I personally think that the 'right' time will present itself--follow your instincts--either that or during your wedding night
