iphone broken after limera1n?
well my mom wanted her iphone jail braked and now its broken which i always feared would happen if i tried to jail break my ipod. good thing i didn't do it and never will.
ok so right now all her iphone is showing is the black screen with the apple in the middle, it wont turn off even after holding the home and power button and it wont go to the home screen or what ever.
it wont even sync to the computer and the computer cant find it at all.
so does anybody know how to fix my moms iphone? and PLEASE don't say "take it back" "get a new on" ect. my mom took the jail break advice from a friend and is going to make him buy a new one if it isint fixed.

First: Before jailbreaking anything, please read customer "reviews" of the jailbreaking service. I have never jailbroken, but if I did, I think I would only do it through redsn0w. Limerain has been a problem for a lot of people.
I'm not sure if this will work because the phone is jailbroken, but this supposed to be the "deepest reset" you can do to an iPhone. What you do is open iTunes and have your iPhone all synced up. Then, hold both the power button and the home button for 10 seconds, then let go of the power button but KEEP HOLDING ONTO THE HOME BUTTON for ten more seconds. What will happen is your iPhone will go into recovery/restore mode. It will have to restore all it's music, apps, etc from the computer again. That will take at least an hour, trust me. If that doesn't work, I would call it quits. Have the friend buy your mom a new iPhone. Is it still under warranty? If so, don't tell them your iPhone was jailbroken then broke. Because they won't do anything about it if you tell them that.

It might be beyond fixable. But, if it isn't then the last thing to try is this.
1. Plus into computer
2. Hold the Power and Home button - until the same screen shows up again
3. Wait around 5-10 minutes
4. Then if it works your computer will make a chime sound ( make sure volume is up ) and your iPod will be normal.
Really hope this helps!
