Help, advice on shy girls?

SHY PEOPLE ARE BASICALLY SHY FOR A REASON. , THEY DON'T GENERALLY HAVE A LOT OF CONFIDENCE AROUND PEOPLE THEY LIKE BUT MAY BE LITTLE FREER WHEN SAID CRUSH OR SOME THAT SEEMED TO TAKE AN INTEREST IN THEM. . IN MY CASE I WAS THE ONE SHY AND A CUTE GIRL ASK ME IF I KNEW SOMETHING ABOUT ALGEBRA. WHICH I DID AND HELPED HER FOR A PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS WHICH WE STARTED HANGING TOGETHER FOR AWHILE. THIS GIRL AND ANOTHER ONE TOOK THE TIME TO OPEN ME UP AND CRACK THE SHY SHELL I HAD BUILT UP AROUND ME. JUST BY BEING FRIENDLY AND HONEST.JUST TRY BEING A FRIEND FIRST BUT AT THE SAME TIME DON'T WAIT TO LONG TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL EITHER . NO GUY WANTS TO BE PUT IN THE FRIEND ZONE EITHER. .

5 of of 10 the sentences she has spoken all year have been to you. She has given you the ok to walk up and talk to her. Try asking her open ended questions. Questions that would require more then one word to answer. Such as don't ask her how she did on the test. because she can answer with "Fine". Ask her what her put for the essay question on number 4?

Its going to take a little bit of planing on you part not to ask closed questions, but once she gets used to talking to you it will become easier for her.

You can also write her a note or two. ask her a bunch of questions and see if she writes back. Sometimes its easier to talk to someone when you are not face to face. Why do you think texting is such a hit. I do not suggest this for the long term but its a way to help find subject to talk to her about.

The Other thing to do is ride the silence. Smile say Hello and when the conversation lags or drifts in to the silence stay put and be comfortable in it. ( if she is walking to class, walk with her but don't force her to talk to you. Yes if feels weird, but if she is shy, she is trying to figure out what the hell you are doing talking to her and if this is some kind of fluke. Give her a moment to catch her breath... and if the silence lags to long she just might start talking.

Well if she's really shy she might only talk to people she knows and trusts. Try to be smile at her (not too big, you'll come off as creepy lol) try to find out what she likes and start up a conversation with her about it. Just be friendly but not too pushy either.

I'm shy,and very insecure and she might be also. Yes,you should talk to her and ask her how she is. Pay attention to her,and keep eye contact or else she'll think that you just want her for something else. Smile at her,and make her feel okay. Sorry if I wasn't more help.

i'm really shy and if i were her i would want a guy to just start out small, like ask me about the homework or something about the class.Oh and mabey you could crack a joke to make her laugh. That always makes me feel a lot more comfortable around anyone really. i always open up more when i'm laughing and by taking small steps when talking to guys

just go up to her and start talking to her, with a gentle voice. ask her how she has been doing and give her a compliment (i like your shoes, your shirt is cool, you look nice today like every day, or say something funny) Be nice and gentle. Hope it works out!

Just try talking to her. Sooner or later she wont be as shy around you anymore.

Please do!! I'm one of those girls, trust me she's probably shy because of you. I'm like that...I'm so flipping shy around guys I like. I'm really crazy around my friends...when they're not around him.

" HI WHATSUP :)!!!!"

and just keep on talking act like you hyper xD

and be like yep " i like pie. do you like pie. why are you so quiet hmmm? :) " just smile and be random. make her laugh !
