Why do people make a big deal about Britney Spears not writing her own songs?

Britney Fans: How come people make a big deal about Britney Spears not writing her own songs and say she's a talentless hack? Okay not all of us have the talent to write songs. She's written plenty of her songs, she's written a lot of demos for her albums: Blackout and Circus. Her record label just doesn't put them on the album cause they feel as though they wouldn't be popular.

Britney has written a lot of songs, her record label just doesn't just release them until there leaked by somebody on the internet. 

She may not have the voice of Christina Aguilera or Mariah Carey like she used to do when she first started, but you cannot say she can't sing. At least she doesn't have a annoying whiny voice like Taylor Swift.

All of Britney Spears' songs are original. No offense to Taylor Swift but all of your songs sound the same. 

Anybody agree? Also not all of us can play instruments. Some of us just may have the talent to sing or to write songs.

Actually Britney is just a Pop Star, not a great singer, not a great songwriter, BUT she's a Great Entertainer and Dancer as well... people is always freaking out about her for no reason, by this time they should know that she's not all that they're expecting out of her. She won't spend a full night writing a rewriting a track and then recording and rerecording, she's just not that kind of artist.

Regarding her talent as a composer, well by the list you made it's pretty clear she's not that clever for POP HITS (which is exactly what the label wants=money) yet still i've heard at least 60% of all that and my perception is that she writes whether thinking in naive love or heavy feelings as reaction to a specific moment (what a regular songwriter does).

Now the audience, i don't what they want, if she sings or not, dances or not, gets married or divorced, smokes or not, and so forth and so on. so, it doesn't matter what the audience thinks, it matters what you think of her as singer or as an artist in a general meaning.

I think you should be aware of how little involvement a popstar needs in a song to be credited as a writer. So your very misled in thinking she wrote all those songs. She's probably wrote less words in her career than you've wrote in this question. But yes not all great singers or instrumentalists are great writers. It's like comparing Leo Fenders guitar playing skills to his guitar building skills. It's a different thing entirely. Britney only gets by on fer looks though. Studio production makes her sound like a semi descent singer. The problem is though that music is so competative and she hasn't earned her success. It was given to her.

Well, it's because most of the time, we admire talented people, and if she doesn't write her own songs, we don't see the talent in her to admire her-but I personally think she's a good musician. By the way, I think Taylor Swift is pretty good too.
