Hobbies and crafts. I want to paint something plastic to look shiny and metallic blue.?

I want to paint my xbox 360 console a blue metallic candy color.

I know I have to take it apart and I know I have to sand it down with fine grit sand paper.

But do I have to put a layer of primer too if I sand?

And for the blue candy effect..

Do I have to spray a layer of silver paint before the layer of blue paint? Or do I not need the silver layers at all..

If I do need silver first How many even layers of silver should I put before the blue layers?? And how many layers of blue paint will I have to put on top? How many layers of clear coat will i need. At any point after painting will I have to wet sand anything or sand anything before putting on a different layer?

I want my xbox to look like a freshly painted shiny metallic car

What paint brand should I get? What style of paint?

I know I'm gonna need to put a clear coat?

What brand works best...

Thank you very much.

Update:

In the question it says plastic. No xbox is made of metal

if this XBOX is made of metal you will have to prime it unless it has already been painted

for spray primers i suggest zinsser 123

i am sure that you could find a blue you like so that you don't have to mix colors

if you use gloss paint you might still want to add clear gloss it depends how shiny you want it
