Would be very strange to have a job where you had your child with you all day. Kids like to eat at the darndest times and it doesn't matter to them if you are with a client or in the middle of a meeting.
I don't even see how this could work in most job situations.

I think it is great, but then how would you be able to if you are a at work and your child at home??? If this means that workplaces will have to have day care, then hell it is Great policy .
Maybe government can give women more 100% paid maternity leave and then they would sort the breastfeeding problem.
I actually only went back to work part time until my son was 18 months because I was breastfeeding and at the time ,I wish work would have give me maybe an extra 1 h for lunch ,at that time ,that would have meant I could have have worked full time
add on: by the way from the age of 6 months babies will eatsolids so are able to be without breasfeeding for a lot longer than 4 hours .for those who work near home an extra 1 hour during the day would be fine since the baby will be fine with being feed morning mid afternoon and before bed

This White Paper is to pre-empt a directive being put forward to be discussed and voted for by the EU. It will allow Daddy on paternity leave to take baby into Mummy who has gone back to work. She will then be able to feed the sprog every 4 hours. Don't know about feeding on demand though!
Can you see this working on a production line? Brings a new meaning to `get yer t*ts out for the boys' doesn't it!!

Yeah, I agree. If there is a few medical reason or something of that style I comprehend it, yet breastfeeding is definitely fit and organic. did you already know that a woman's breast milk differences daily to slot what that toddler needs on the time? that is truly stunning and it style of makes me indignant that many women do no longer breastfeed because of the fact of stupid motives like, "it hurts" or "i do no longer choose my breasts to get dishevelled". i do no longer understand, yet to me, the well being and well being of my toddlers is going a techniques and previous my own needs.

I would have looked wonderful on the reception desk of the hotel breast feeding and answering the phone and checking in guests!
The majority of breast fed babies are fed on demand - not by the clock

BRILLIANT, oh hold on, it will mean the baby sitter taking the baby down the pub or nightclub on saturdays because mum is partying

this is more EU drivel. not the government. but i'm sure it will get shoved through, then employers will find ways of not employing women.
