In high enough doses both are vary hazardous to a dogs health

that is why you should administer at the direction of a Vet and according to the directions on the box

Frostline is a nerve toxin and Advantage is hazardous to the liver

personally I only use Advantage as a last resort when I get a bad flea infestation - the last time I used it was two+ years ago and when I do have to use it my vet has me also give milk Thistle to help off set the damage to the liver

Depends on how much is given and how it is administered. It is generally a topical chemical used to kill fleas and ticks- if too much is applied or it is given in a method that isn't recommended by the company that produces the chemicals then yes- it may be harmful.

I have been using it for years and never had a problem with it if you over dosed your dog with it that could become dangerous
