I can't figure out how much to charge admission?

I'm putting on a field show to raise money for the band program in my area. How much should I charge admission? I plan on paying for most the stuff with sponsorships. How can I figure out a fair price to charge?

If most of the expenses are paid for with other monies, then you don't need to consider that. Instead you need to consider what the market will bear. Look up online (or ask the band director or others who might know the history of other fund-raising programs in the area) to see what other similar sorts of programs in your area have charged--if you charge much more, you'll likely lose a lot of people who feel they are being over-charged; charge less, and you'll not earn as much as you could have.

    Good luck.

If the show's long, raise prices. If the show's got a lot of participants, lower prices, because it's likely that more people will come. Take into account the general wealth of the area. If it's wealthy, go ahead and charge a little more. If it's a poor area, by no means should you break their backs with the pricing. You also need to account for how much money you really want to raise.

or you could save yourself the trouble and make people bring their own bibles and lighter fluid then just charge 15$ for admission so that way you can keep all the money and you dont have to go out and buy bibles actually you could just walk into random and take those bibles....every hotel room has one

It seems that $10 is reasonable. But we might need more details.
