(South East UK) Selling house - pointers please?
Live in South East UK - need to sell my house and would welcome any advice on the best way to go about it and how to keep cost down - have decided to sell it via an estate agent have provisionally approached a couple for valuations. Also wondered if anyone could recommend a good estate agent to sell it through - it is a 3+1 bed mid terrace Victorian in good order (the reason I mention that is because it may have a bearing on which estate agent is more likely to be able to sell this sort of property) - really would welcome any sensible advice/suggestions - want to get it marketed as soon as possible - many thanks x

Go with the agency that is moving the most properties. I live in the US, and whomever is selling the most homes would be the Realtor I would go with. I would not worry about the commission they are asking for, as long as I got the best price for my home.
Make sure your home is priced fairly. If too high, it will be difficult to sell, too low, and obviously you lose money. It needs to be properly appraised, and at a price that is competitive so the market price is one that will entice prospective buyers.
