Is the motor in a 2000 a6 2.8 the same as a 2000 a4 quattro 2.8?
I have a blown engine and found a 2.8 online but it is out of an A6. Is it the same engine? Are all the plugs and connectors the same, will it bolt right in?

I know it is the same engine, as far as how it will bolt in, you might need to swap a few parts from your A4 engine, Im not sure how different it is when you put it in a little A4.... (just the mounts). Good luck.
