Opinions on Victoria's Secret fashion show! :)?

I just want your opinion on the Victoria's Secret fashion show.

Honestly, I don't watch it because I don't feel like watching starving models walk around.

I think that teen girls, or younger, TRY to look like these woman on TV, it's not right. All these girls do crazy workouts, and air brush anyway. :)

Opinions guys!

Update:

If they don't look starving, then what do they look like? Deff. not healthy in my opinion.

And I'm not saying that ALL teens try to look like that, but a lot of them "think" they need to look like that.

Update 2:

My good god. I'm not saying that they ARE. I'm saying that they LOOK like they are. There IS a difference in what I'm saying.

I don't and never plan to watch a fashion show.

Those models make starving African children look overweight. That's disgusting.

I will not be watching it. If i want to buy one of their bras or anything i would go to their store or get it offline. I just wish models weren't so fake. I think they would look better without the truckload of makeup and spray tan on and a few steaks on their dinner plates. They have just became over-rated. It's all about double Ds and size 00. They aren't really even modeling their clothes, just their bodies.

    I liked it

I'm getting annoyed with everyone bashing on them. These girls look beautiful. Fashion runway models are much skinnier than VS models.

How do you know that they are starving themselves?

I have watched an interview with alessandra ambrosio and she said how she loved hamburgers and bashing on fast food. But, she only did it once a week.

I know lots of people who weight more than her and don't even eat a bit of fast food

People think they're so much more superior because they actually have "curves" and are healthy. They think it's ok to just insult people with a size 2-4. These models are healthy too, they're just skinnier.

It's ok to be different sizes. I just wish everyone could UNDERSTAND that. At first, it's not alright to be curvier. And now, it's not ok to be skinny?

If everyone kept telling that every size is good (except the extremes), then I'm sure a lot less kids would be insecure

    This is fine:

    This isn't:

It's not the media's fault, it's everyone's own fault. It's called SELF-esteem. Comes from you. Not what the media is showing you. If people keep thinking that it's the media's fault, we'll just be proving once more that we are unable to think by our own.

    I actually watch it.

For the most part, I havent seen any Victoria Secret models look as if they are "starving".

I'm a teen, and I dont try to look like them. If anything I pay more attention to their faces over their body.

I avoid watching it, since I'd prefer not to feel terrible about myself for the next two and a half weeks because I don't have Double D breasts and a size 0 waist.

I was just looking at some of last years, and all I can think is "How the hell do they walk in stillettos with huge wings?"

I would probably watch it for a bit if it werent for GLEE and finals :)

    I watch it every year!

My favorite show was the 2005 one.

And also, most of the models do not look they are "starving".

  • I watched it, i had to say, it was sort of disturbng. A couple looked underweight, though most looked healthy.
