GM Volt advertising...?

Do you agree that GM's new Volt's advertising slogan (for the USA) of "It's More Car Than Electric"

must be one of the worst of all time????? To me, it is saying: "Don't worry. It will still move."

    No, it makes sense. The public is still wary of electric cars. They are a relatively new technology that hasn't really had much real life exposure to the general public. I'd say "Don't worry. It will still move." is just what they want you to think. Though you certainly put a slight negative connotation on it there. The point is, the slogan is to convince buyers that this new technology isn't all that different from what we're all used to.

    I agree. It's no different than saying "Come to the dump. It's not trash, it's just slightly used!"

    Hey, that would almost work for the Volt. "It's not complete junk, some of it still works!"
